Discuss the icons that you love best!| You're only as young as you feel and today I feel...... | | They say you're only as young as you feel and today I don't feel young at all. I feel very old. My IBS is acting up due to being stressed about my daugther's doctors appointment this afternoon. She is having more test done to see if she has cervical cancer. She is 25 year old and has a 3 year old daughter. She is single and the baby's daddy is not involved in any way. Some people never feel only despite their real age. They say being active and having a positive attitued will keep you in a youthful frame of mind. How do you feel young? Or do you feel old? How do you handles stress? | |
| | Do you think it's better to have children in your 20's, 30's or 40's? | | Do you think it's better to have your children while
you're still very young and energetic?Do you wish you'd waited until later in life to start
having children? If I'd had a choice in the matter, I would have given
birth to my daughter in my 20's when I had much more
energy. But Mother Nature had other plans and so I gave
birth to her just after turning 30 years old.Good news is that she will turn 20, just as I turn 50 years old.
She should be in college by then and well on her way to self
sufficiency.If I'd had her just ten years before, I would be able to
enjoy grandchildren too and still only be in my 40's!Mostly likely I'll be 60 years old
before any grand kids come along.Oh, well! Sometimes we don't get to plan our lives the way
we want things to turn out.

| | Farewell To You, My Friend | | He was a real genius. He never finished college, yet, he could beat even the smartest college guy in the neighborhood. That was because he was a bookworm--he loved books too much he literally ate them, the ideas in the books, I mean. He was good at everything: writing poems, doing science experiments, exploring uncharted forests, book discussions, logic, algebra and trigonometry, and others. He even let us see Mars, Venus, and Pluto through his telescope. I became his best friend, though I was then only 13 and he was in his early twenties. He talked to me about highly intelligent things. I marveled in awe, mouth agaped, though I didn't understand a thing he said. He stopped awhile in the middle of his exhortation, looked at me, and then smiled. He patted my head. "You're still very young, my friend," he said. But he found me a good listener. So he liked going to my place almost daily to talk about intellectual things, though he knew I could barely cope up. He was my first instructor in Karate. He was a first dan black belt. He would drop by our house to check on my Karate form and correct me. After a year, he said I was good enough to be a first dan black belt myself.... | |
| | Who's older, and who looks older? | | This discussion came to me because recently I commented on a friend's photo of her husband, assuming it was her teenage son! He certainly looks young, at least in my eyes.So it got me wondering, in your relationship, who looks older? Do you look older than your partner even though you're younger, or do you both about fit your age? Or do one of you look like you're far too young to be with the other?I certainly don't fit my age. I've had people tell me I look anywhere from 35 to 40 something! I'm not even 30 yet, and won't be for over a year still. My hubby is 5 and a half years older than me, but I guess in our relationship, I look like I'm the oldest. I think he looks about his age. He's got a young looking face, but his receding hair line gives it away, which is why he shaves his head, and that helps bring back his youthful look. | |

Stand up and let your mind work, look at the mirror and tell yourself he is not the only guy in the world, Instead of spending time watching TV and letting those bad feelings bury you, go and have a shopping spree with your friends or maybe with your mom, have some party and let those bad feelings runaway through your mind, just realize that every problem has a solution.Therefore you also realize that “It’s good to be single!” you’re free to enjoy your time with your friends and with your brothers and sisters; you can also do whatever you wanted to do. Think of it, you’re beautiful and young and there are so many boys out there who are dying to be your boyfriend.So live it up! And accept everything even if it hurts so badly; don’t try to suicide just because you and your boyfriend broke up, just think of yourself and you’ll gonna manage those feelings wisely.

| | Afraid to tell your mom that you are pregnant?? | | YOur mom is aware of the situation that you have a boyfriend at a young age ( lets say 16-17 years old) and she's very supportive of you because she gives you the trust that you'll be responsible. Your mother however is strict that she reinforces all the time that you must not have an intercourse with anyone until you got married. Now, this thing happened that you got yourself pregnant. What shall you do? Would you tell her immediately? But your afraid about her reaction..
That situation is very difficult and it's unfortunate that you have to worry about figuring out on how and when to tell your mother about your pregnancy, thinking that you're still too young fot it. But with all of this, you have to accept first the situation you're facing and the reaction of your mother once you tell her. Although your mom may feel dissapointed, but she cant do anything about it but to accept. This may serve as a lesson to you that you must obey and listen to your parent's advises. | |
