| wrecking a friendship | | I have these two friends and lately all the been doing is arguing and I need a solution to their problem because they are sickening to be around right now. The first one was dating this guy for 5 years and they had three kids together her man treated her real bad he didn't work he didn't clean or stay with the kids while she worked she had to pay his mother to babysit he abused her mentally and physically and all the while friend number two seen it and always told friend number one she could do better and deserve better. Now two years later friend one and her man broke up the get along a lot better now almost like best friends and one day friend number two ask how would friend number one feel if she dated her ex man ok the argument started there friend number one was upset that friend number two would even have that idea but said she don't condone them being together and that he would treat friend number two the same way and eventually he did he beat friend number two crashed her car and house and left her for someone else and told friend number one that that's why she shouldn't trust her friends be cause they are all man hungry and would wreck a freindship for a chance at love... | |

| Have you ever been in a huricane storm? | | I have never been in a hurricane but I have heard it can be really bad. People lose houses and sometimes people die in these awful storms. I don't live by the ocean but I live where tonados can strike. I have never seen a tornado strike around me. I think they are neat to watch in the distance but never up close and personal. Tornados can destroy houses in minties and sometimes seconds. It's pretty scary to know what nature can do in the blink of an eye. It can be so nerve wrecking. I always worry when we have a warning out. I can only image the terror people fear when a hurrican warning is in effect. I am sure they can be just as bad as a tornado if not worse. | |

Friends, I am really in need of some very strong opinions before I take the next step.[em]wub[/em]Background:
My bf of 3 years have a strong disciplinarian as a father and he had a very strict upbringing focusing mainly on career in life. He has come from a family of achievers( a reputed doctor in London, engineers, politicians, musicians etc....) and his father's brother is an influential politician in our land. So his family's main focus in life have been careers, politics, power..etc
I am an only daughter and so I was brought-up in a very happy carefree environment and all I want is some sweet love and a happily married life. Financially, I am independent. Both me and my Bf have a degree in engineering and are working now. My parents were mismatched and I never EVER want to be in that same situation EVER.Problems:
The thing is my bf have very high goals in life with very high standards and he is not even satisfied with the current position that he is holding as he have a line of achievers in his family to put up with.
