What is your favorite Elvis presley song?
Elvis Presley was one of the greatest Music Legends of our time. He would be 75 years old today if he were still living. His music has inspired and entertained several generations of fans. i can remember growing up wth Elvis Presley music. I have several fsvorite Elvis songs. My ultimate favoite is Suspicious Minds. I could listen to that song again and again. O,K, Elvis fans of the world. What is your favorite Elvis presley song?
Eraserheads: The Greatest Filipino Band Ever! (or not?)
What do you think of the Eraserheads? I think they're music legends and they are probably the most influential band in the Philippines. I also like Juan de la Cruz Band and Asin, but it's the Eraserheads who had the most impact on me as an OPM band fan. They are probably the most popular band when I was growing up and they still have millions of fans, even around the world! My favorite songs are:-Minsan - listen to this song! It's one of their best songs EVER.-Spoliarium - I love the artistic touch in this... pun intended.-Alapaap - a bit controversial during its time because Senator Tito Sotto wildly accused it to be a song about "drug addiction". Whatever Tito Sotto, whatever. You're such a loser. LOL.-Tindahan ni Aling Nena - my favorite song in the world![em]thumbup[/em] Fun to sing-along, especially when you're drunk.and many others.^_^So what are your thoughts on Eraserheads? Share and be heard!:)
Favorite Artist Or Band & Y?
Sup MyLot? Lets talk music. Who is your favorite artist or band and tell us why?For me, my favorite artist of all time is Prince! Prince is maybe, in my opinion, one of the most talented and creative artists to ever emerge on the music scene! This cat smashed the Pop, RnB and Rock charts! He writes all of his songs, plays most instruments and arranges all of his music! He was one of the first artist to use the internet to market his music when the record label was trying to screw him out of money! Then, this man hit platinum status in cd sales, without selling one cd; just gave them freely with each ticket sold at all of his sold out concerts, now that's genius! Now he owns all of his rights to everything and is one of the most respected and iconic living music legends ever! My favorite Hip Hop artist is Rakim (Of Eric B & Rakim) Rakim has to be the most well respected unchallenged hip hop artist ever, no one wanted none! For yall youngins jocn Lil Wayne and these new so called rappers, try a real lyricist! This man can fade anyone on the mic, still today! He was way before his time, the flows, the coming together of thought, the delivery, MAN! This cat reminds me of...
The Grammys 2008
Did you get to see the Grammys? They commemorated all the music legends for the past 50 years and celebrated their Glorious Golden Years as well... As a music lover, i have to say It was truly Music's Biggest Night! Who was your favourite performer? I really loved Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli's duet of the Prayer... it brought me to tears... Some of the top classic legends like Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner also graced us with their outstanding performances... and so did the modern and contemporary artist such as Rihanna, Fergie, Carrie Underwood, Kanye West, ALicia Keys and Amy Winehouse... Do you enjoy watching the Grammys as well? What was your favourite part of the show?
Are all celebrities destined to die the same way?
Have you noticed how most famous celebrities pass away under the same mysterious circumstances or from the same illnesses? Or, how all the great rock and music legends have fallen victom to the same drug and drinking habits, leading to their own end.Now look at Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan! You would think they'd have learned a lesson from those who have gone before. Do you think it's inevitable that a famous person will end up like this?

Florida Senate takes on rip-off bands
The Florida Senate embraced the "truth in music" movement Friday with passage of legislation barring oldies acts using famous names to which they're not entitled. The bill now awaiting House approval would prohibit a person from advertising or holding a live performance using such a name under false pretenses.Bands with famous names performing with at least one original member who has the legal right would be allowed. The measure also would still allow people who own a federal service mark or trademark to use the name of a band. For years, music legends from the Coasters to the Shirelles to the Drifters have complained about unauthorized impostors.Nine states have either passed or will soon pass laws to try to make sure that if you go to see The Pretenders, you're not getting mere pretenders.Salute-to or tribute bands would be OK, too, so Elvis impersonators need not worry.Violating the law would be a misdemeanor.
prince
may i ask how prince became such a music legend? his singing stinks which is why he was in the lip sync scandal years ago right? and the dumb stunts?? the artist formerly known as prince?? like the artists formerly known as jimi hendrix? could you imagine real music legends playing his dumb games? purple rain makes no sense yet it's an awesome song?? why?? sounds like pop tart stuff? i would really like to know how prince and madonna for that matter became such legends??? i'm embarrassed for my generation if this is our contribution to great music...

What would you say the best James Brown song was?
After hearing that arguably one of the greatest music legends passed away recently, it got me wondering what was the best song James Brown sung, as there is many good ones such as 'get up offa that thing', 'get on up', 'I feel good' and my favourite 'the big payback', what do you think?
