| Hoping for a good year! | | Here's a shot of my strawberry patch. Well, what can be seen right now anyhow. With the warm weather and the sunny area they sit in they have started to pop up and I see many new shoots. I have to thin the patch out this year as well. I hope to make some jam or jelly this year. But that all depends on my lazyiness meter at the time of picking. If you have a recipe for jam or jelly for strawberries please post it here. Do you have a strawberry patch? One of the worst year I have experienced - so much bad happened and just nothing much happening. The most memorable moment of 2009 must have been Michael Jackson dying after overdosing the tablets that he took and then the rest was just boring. | A good year for roses? | | We had a long severe winter here and I am astonished how well many plants in my garden are growing. The roses are much stronger and have flowered earlier than in previous years. Last year I fed them with used coffee grains and eggshells.
Could this be the reason they are doing so well or are they just pleased, like me, that the very cold winter is over? Has anybody else noticed better than usual roses this year?. I attach a photo of one of the many lovely roses I have in my garden which unfortunately I cannot name. | |

| Do u think 2009 will be a good year? despite of economic crisis, wars.,etc? | | Signs are not quite good. Global recession, wars in some part of the world or even in our own home, terrorism, depletion of nature, environmental problems alike..etc. etc. Do u think things will get better this year? or does it seem impossible. For me, despite of all that;s happening in the world, i still have high hopes for 2009. Actually, i wanted to welcome it with a big bang but the day before the new years day all kinds of celebrations were banned in Dubai where i stay, the reason they said is because of what's happening in gaza. I was disappointed, i wanted so bad to celebrate the end of 2008 hoping that as it ends all our problems end as well. New year, new hope, new life. It may seem like believing for a miracle to happen, but what the hell, this is the time when we really must not let go of our hope. It's all we have left, especially for those who got fired from their job last year of 2008. Things definitely won't get better if as early as the start of the year we keep on saying and thinking of negative things that we think are gonna happen. Let's all be positive people. It's all about law of attraction. Words become flesh. Thoughts become things. Prosperous 2009 to all! | |
| | has 2008 been a good year to you? | | [b]first of all, i would like to greet you reader a happy new year!well i don't think that this year has been a good one for me for this year has caused me so much problems. but i am also thankful that this past year has been good for me and my boyfriend because we have reached our second year anniversary with full of love and happiness. i just hope this year 2009, more love, trust and good memories will come for me and my boyfriend even more, i hope to hear wedding bells. hahaha! but for sure that will take us more years before that happens. i also hope for more happiness in life with regards to relationship with my mother and that rumors between me and my boyfriend will stop for these adds more burden to my part. i expect for changes and that i may learn to forgive those who have hurted me, my dad and my boyfriend.happy posting and happy mylotting![/b] | |

| how is 2008 for you? did u have a good year or not? | | hi mylotters. the year is about to end. looking back i may say that this year is not my year. i had so much trials and challenges this year which i thought i could not surpass. but on the brighter side, i could still smile @ 2008 because as i count my blessings this year, could definitely say that God is faithful to me this year because He never leave me or forsake me in the midst of my turmoil. I had a new house, new job and new business venture this year. what a blessing! i realized that no matter how many bad things happened to me this year, counting my blessings made me say that God is really good. Im looking forward to be much more better year in 2009.
