Discuss the icons that you love best!| life is full of choices | | Michael is the kind of guy you love to hate .He is always in a good mood and alway has something positive to say.When someone would ask him how he was doing,he would reply,:"if i were any btter,i would be twins."he was a natrural motivator.If an employee was having a bad day,Michael was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation.Seeing this style really made me curious.so one day i went up to Michael and asked him "i don't get it.i can't be positive all the time. how do you do it?"
Michael replyed,each morning i wake up and said to myself:"Mike,you have two choices today.You can choose to be in a good mood or you can choose to be in a bad mood."I choose to be in a good mood.Each time something bad happens,I can choose to be a victim or choose to learn from it.I choose to learn from it.Everytime soemone comes to me complaining i can choose to accept their complaining or i can point out the positive side of life.

| | Do you feel bad for the actor when their character is killed off of a TV show? | | I do sometimes. Sheriff Lamb was killed off of Veronica Mars, and I feel so bad for Michael Muhney! He's one of the nicest, most down to earth people you would ever want to meet, and I really hope that this part launches his career and we see great things from him. I feel bad for the cast of Lost, knowing that none of them are immune from being suddenly killed off and without a job. It's very silly to personally identify with actors, but I do it anyway. | | How would you reponse to your domestic helper if she is really bad? | | It is not recommended to hire a domestic helper if your family has no need for that.Some people may think that it is symbol of a rich or a middle class family to have a domestic helper at home.But actually it can be very terrible.We heard from the news almoct everyday that a domestic helper can always cause lots of trouble to your family.She will steal your stuffs when you are not at home,torture your little baby kid by sucking her toe in your baby's month(and she still think that it is okay to do so).She will add some unwanted things to your food if you don't see them.The worse thing will be she will borrow lots of money fromthe bank or those underground financial agency by using your name or address shortly before they leave your job.Anything is possible....you name it.[em]thumbdown[/em][em]cry[/em]You can just keep on counting on your hidden camera or keep on fire them.Almost 95% of them are all the same.I don't know why they will act like this and it really hurts the employer and the family.I won;t say that the employer are always right because some of them are just so terrible as well.But as an employer,everybody will hope to have a domestic helper who is reliable and... | |

is there any unbearable things in a relationship to you?im in a relationship as father and little girl. my boyfriends always want to take care of me. if im not around him, he will be very nervous. everytime i want to go shopping, he goes with me. it is very sweet of him but sometimes i do think i need some personal space. im with him for almost 4 years and living together for 3 years. it is very annoying that without me, he wont go out and he is unwilling to let me go out alone. he want us do everything together...is it a healthy relationship, or we should take apart for a while.i do love him and he definitely loves me. we want to make our life together in the future and we are all making effort on it.
it just makes me feel hard that im under control sometimes and have no personal life. i am a person who likes to be alone sometimes. go shopping by myself, eat out with nobody and when im very tired, i do wish him to do things all by himself and ignore the existence of me as i am so tired to accompany with him.except this, there is no bid problem for me in our relationship... | |
| | Getting rid of cheap "booze" in UK, a good or a bad thing?! | | The new coalition Government have said that they are going to stop shops from selling alcohol which they are "not making a profit on", so basically the cheap alcohol which we see in the shops, the £2.50 for 4 cans of lager, which is only low alcohol content but cheap enough for people on low incomes to enjoy a beer without breaking the bank! I can see where theya re coming from, we have a HUGE binge drinking problem in the UK, with the "chavs" drinking £1 bottles of cider on the street corners causing trouble for people etc. BUT in my opinion stopping cheap alcohol been sold in shops (i.e. the 3 bottles for £10 offers on wine in Asda), will not stop these people, they dont tend to have bills to pay or families to support, and so all of their money can go onto alcohol, whereas people like me and my husband will be forced to stp buying any alcohol!! We have a moderate income, a house to fund bills to pay and a baby on the way, and we have little left each month to treat ourselves, my husband likes to have a nice cold beer to relax with after a hard week in work (he works 60 hour weeks and works very hard), but is happy for us to buy the cheap beer 4 cheap cans of lager for a... | |
